Today started in a lovely way with one of the youth giving a land acknowledgment that made us all consider how many nations lived and thrived on these lands: Semiahmoo, Kwantlen, Katzie, Kwikwetlem, Musquean, Squamish and Tsleil Waututh!

Today we continued making patches! Also, we introduced screen printing! We had 3 designs: a youth transformer design and two artist in resident designs! Everyone got to make a few patches of their choice! Also we continued sewing and making other multi-media patch designs....

Lots of conversation, as always, but a new media tip: One Piece long standing manga series, animation and now live action! Young people have been using the Once Piece flag in global protests against corrupt governments, inequality and injustice - GO Gen Z! An example of art inspiring truth and human rights!
